Dear Maggie Franklin

I read a document about that meeting that Paul Devereux opened the meeting and closed the meeting within 2 or 3 minutes because only one person from the community showed up and did not want to speak.

I had asked Paul later, when I found out about the meeting, of why the community was not notified about the meeting.  His answer was that SAFCA put an add in the Sacramento Bee and that was all SAFCA had to do.

I do not believe John Bassett, as I did read a document from SAFCA about the meeting.  That is how I found out about the meeting.  It may have been minutes or something other than a transcript.

Dear Maggie Franklin

After sending my last e-mail to you, I remembered where I read the subject document.  I started through my files and found it in the following SAFCA FSEIR.

It is after page 5-26 of the "FSEIR for The NEMDC West Levee and Robla Creek South Levee Stage 2 Improvements", dated August 1997.

It consists of 4 pages, but only 1 page is the actual transcript of the meeting, actually less than half of the page.

Subject document is listed as Transcript 2.
